The Mercury Ignite Graduate Hiring Program is a structured 12-month rotational experience within Enterprise Data Science (EDS) and Mercury Technology Solutions (MTS), offering rotations across designated career paths and disciplines for recent graduates.
Participants gain full-time positions exposing them to real-time projects and work application of skills and knowledge gained from an accredited academic program. Throughout the rotations, graduates can apply their perspectives, creativity, and innovation to drive Mercury’s growth. By gaining in-dept exposure to the insurance industry and Mercury’s business operations, participants develop additional skills and insight to make meaningful contributions, helping cultivate a strong internal talent pipeline and shape the future of Mercury while amping up their own career paths.

Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's (BS/BA), Masters (MS/MA) or PHD in relevant field of study/STEM from an accredited college/university
- Available to commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) business during normal business hours
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
- Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
- 0-2 year’s experience

Enterprise Data Science
- Graduate Program – Data Science: Focuses on collaborating with engineers and product leaders to build solutions that impact the bottom line while exploring different areas of data science and building a solid foundation in advanced analytical techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms.
- Data Engineering Graduate Development Program: Focuses on supporting the development and upkeep of data pipelines for our analytics and data science teams while working on assignments in various areas of data engineering.
Mercury Technology Solutions
- AI, Data, and Automation Graduate Development Program: Focuses on gaining experience with real business projects and rotations through key verticals within AI, data, and automation while developing software applications and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- SRE Graduate Development Program: Focuses on gaining hands-on experience in technology operation, deployment operations, system reliability, and change management while learning core skills in your field under the mentorship of experienced engineers.
- Software Engineering Graduate Development Program: Focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems under the guidance of senior engineers while building a solid foundation in software engineering concepts, tools, and more.
Mercury Ignite Frequently Asked Questions
Am I eligible to apply for a Mercury Graduate Program?
If you are considering the graduate program and have an anticipated graduation date on or after November 2025 but no later than June 2026 and are graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s or PHD from an accredited college, in the relevant field of study/STEM, you are eligible to apply.
Will I be paid?
Yes, all our graduate program participants are paid!
Are these remote opportunities?
Yes, all graduate program opportunities are remote first with the ability to travel to office locations as needed.
What does a complete application look like?
Each job description outlines the minimum requirements for the role. Generally, a complete application includes:
- A resume with visible graduation date (month/year)
- Undergraduate/Graduate transcripts with GPA
What is the deadline for applications?
Applications must be submitted through our careers site no later than February 20, 2026 for the Graduate Program start date of June 2026.
What does the selection process look like?
Mercury has designed our selection process into three (3) steps:
- Basic pre-screen with Talent Acquisition
- 1st Interview with a member of our Human Capital Business Partner Group
- Final Interview with Business Line Leaders
Following the interview process, if you are selected for the role, you will receive an offer, proposed start date and go through our pre-employment and onboarding process.
