We offer two plans: one for vehicles still under the manufacturer’s basic warranty, and one for vehicles where the manufacturer’s basic warranty has expired.
If your vehicle qualifies for our Supreme Plan, it’s similar to your manufacturer warranty, which typically covers ANY mechanical or electrical breakdown that isn’t specifically excluded.
If your vehicle qualifies for our Choice Plan, it covers many components in the engine, transmission, drive axle, transfer case, steering, brake, suspension, electrical, special electronics, fuel system, air conditioning, ignition and charging systems, engine cooling, and hybrid/electric.

Oh! Our legal team doesn’t like us to use the words “extended warranty,” because technically only the manufacturer can extend a warranty, and we’re not a manufacturer. Really, most of the vehicle service protection products you can buy can’t be called an “extended warranty,” even though that is a commonly used term. What we sell is a vehicle service contract, which could cover everything your original manufacturer warranty covered.

Roadside assistance is included with each plan. If you need a tow, run out of gas, or lock your keys in your vehicle, just give us a call at (888) 833-1287 and we’ll send help plus cover the cost up to $100. And don’t forget that your plan also includes reimbursement for a rental car or rideshare service while your vehicle is in the shop (for a covered repair) – up to $50 per day for up to 10 days!
We’d hate to see you go, but yes, you can cancel anytime.
If you purchase another vehicle, you can buy a plan for that vehicle, but we can’t transfer it from one vehicle to the next. The plan is also not transferable to another person.
Filing a claim is super easy! Simply have your chosen licensed service provider call our claims center (800) 654-8455 and we will handle the rest with them. We recommend repairs be performed by a franchise automobile dealer partly because some repairs may still be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
We’re in it for the long haul. Unlike other companies that cut you off at a certain date or mileage, you’re protected as long as you make your monthly payment.

You can take your vehicle to any licensed repair facility.
It’s very simple. You pay your selected deductible to the repair facility, and we pay them the difference for the covered repair cost.
This is a one-time charge on the day of purchase. A small price of admission for continuous worry-free driving.
We understand that unexpected things can happen. We’ll notify you if there’s an issue and you can update your payment method.

Each plan has a maximum benefit that limits the total payout over the life of your agreement.
The free-look period gives you the flexibility to purchase Mercury Protect today, you can cancel anytime within the next 30 days. If you do cancel during this period, you’ll get a full refund, including your enrollment fee, as long as you have not filed a claim.
Yes! We cover parts and labor for all covered repairs.
