Rules and Restrictions

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
2. Eligibility: Offer valid for licensed California drivers twenty-one (21) years of age and older. Employees, officers, and directors, including immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related, of Mercury Insurance Services, LLC ("Mercury") and any affiliates and subsidiaries and Mercury's agents or brokers, Octagon, Inc., and any of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to participate in this promotion. The promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.
3. Promotion Period: Quotes must be completed by 11:59 pm (PT) July 15, 2011, to receive a voucher redeemable for your two complimentary Mercury Insurance Open (MIO) reserved grandstand tickets. Deadline may be extended at sole discretion of Mercury Insurance.
4. Maximum of two (2) complimentary tickets per household per each six-month period, regardless of the promotion and/or offer. Multiple quotes from the same address within 180 days will be disqualified

6. Promotion code – TENNIS - must be entered at time of quote in the field marked “Promotion Code.”
7. Ticket Voucher Terms and Conditions
   1. Ticket Voucher good for two (2) complimentary reserved grandstand tickets.
   2. Voucher(s) valid for one (1) session on the following dates: 7/30, 7/31, 8/1, 8/2, 8/3, 8/4, 8/5, 8/6 and 8/7.
   3. Ticket quantities for each session are limited.
   4. All ticket offers/discounts must be requested prior to sale.
   5. Cannot be combined with any other ticket offer.
   6. Vouchers void after August 7, 2011.
   7. Subject to availability. Limited number of vouchers available for each session on each date listed above.
   8. Not valid for previously purchased tickets.
   9. No cash value.
   10. Terms and conditions subject to change at the sole discretion of the Mercury Insurance Open and its operators.
8. Ticket voucher redemption information will be sent via e-mail within three (3) business days to the e-mail address listed on the quote.
9. How to Redeem Ticket Voucher: Once you receive confirmation that the session you chose is available, you will have two ways to redeem your voucher.
1. MIO Box Office – No Fees!
   

   You may choose to redeem your voucher through the MIO box office. There will be no fees or additional charges when you choose this option, unless you choose to upgrade your tickets.

   1. Choose MIO Box Office.
   2. Your unique voucher passcode will be displayed on the screen - write this down or print the page for reference, as you will need it later to redeem the voucher.
   3. You can call the MIO Box Office in advance at 760-930-7032 to confirm your session and choose to have the tickets left at will call for pick up during the tournament.
      1. Voucher passcode must be presented at time of redemption to verify eligibility.
      2. Valid ID must be presented at will call to claim your tickets.
   4. You can also bring your voucher passcode to the MIO Box Office during normal operating hours to exchange them for your tickets. Valid ID must be presented at time of redemption for eligibility.
      1. In Advance: Redeem your voucher passcode at the MIO Box Office located at La Costa Resort and Spa, 2100 Costa Del Mar Road, Carlsbad, CA 92009. The box office is open Monday – Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (PT).
      2. Day of Session: Redeem your voucher passcode at the MIO box office located at La Costa Resort and Spa, 2100 Costa Del Mar Road, Carlsbad, CA 92009. The box office opens one hour prior to session time.
   5. You may also upgrade your tickets, however, you will be responsible for the difference in price between the Voucher tickets and the upgraded tickets.*
2. Ticketmaster.com – Fees Apply
   

   You can also redeem your voucher online through Ticketmaster.com. Please note that fees apply when you choose this option.**

   1. Select the Ticketmaster.com option
   2. Your unique voucher passcode will be displayed on the screen - write this down or print the page for reference, as you will need to enter it to redeem the voucher.
   3. Click on the "Continue to Ticketmaster" button and you will be taken to their website for the session you have chosen for the Mercury Insurance Open.
   4. Select "2" for the number of tickets you would and enter your voucher passcode in the "Enter offer code/password" field and click "OK."
   5. Proceed as instructed to complete your transaction.
   6. You may also choose to upgrade your tickets during this process. Upgraded tickets are subject to payment of the difference in price and any additional fees charged by Ticketmaster.com. ***

ELIGIBILITY:  The Mercury Insurance Open VIP Experience Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of California who are licensed drivers twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Mercury Insurance Services, LLC (“Mercury”) and any affiliates and subsidiaries and Mercury’s agents or brokers (collectively, the “Sponsor”), Octagon, Inc. (“Octagon”), and any of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate or win a prize in this Sweepstakes.  The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.  The Sweepstakes is void outside California, Arizona and Nevada and where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.

HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on July 15, 2011 (“Entry Period”). Individuals desiring to submit an entry into the Sweepstakes (hereinafter referred to as “Entrant(s)”) can enter by completing an online Mercury auto insurance quote. During the Entry Period, Entrant(s) may visit www.mercuryinsurance.com/tennis and click on the “Get a Quote” button to get a quote. Quotes must be completed so that the Entrant is provided with a rate quote. Quotes do not need to be submitted to an agent to be eligible and submitting a quote to an agent will not increase Entrant’s chances of winning. Entrant must enter the promotion code – TENNIS – in the field marked “Promotion Code” in the quote process. Once the promotion code has been entered and the quote is complete, Entrant will be entered into the Sweepstakes. All information submitted online by Entrant is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with Mercury’s Privacy Policy, which is accessible at http://www.mercuryinsurance.com/about/privacy-statement.html. By completing a quote/entry, Entrant agrees to allow Mercury and/or its designated representatives to contact Entrant and/or send sales marketing information focused on Mercury’s products and services to Entrant. Should Entrant not wish to receive future solicitations, an e-mail should be sent to miohelp@mercuryinsurance.com requesting removal from all mailing lists related to Mercury Insurance Open contests and promotions managed and operated by Mercury. No other method of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per household. In case of multiple entries received from any household, only the first entry received from such household will be considered.

RANDOM DRAWING: The potential winner of the Sweepstakes (the “Winner”) will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received by the Sponsor, as applicable. The decisions of Sponsor, including the selection of the Winner, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

PRIZE: One prize (“Prize”) will be awarded. The Winner will receive a prize package that includes the following elements:

• Four (4) box seats at the session of the Winner’s choice, subject to availability, at the 2011 Mercury Insurance Open. Exact location of seats to be determined by Sponsor.
• One (1) room for two (2) nights at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA for four (4) people.
• Complimentary parking at La Costa Resort and Spa for two (2) nights.
• One (1) La Costa Resort and Spa gift card in the amount of $250.
• Mercury Insurance Open memorabilia autographed by a 2011 participant in the tournament main draw. Exact item to be determined by Sponsor. 

TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED. Match times and exhibition dates are determined in the sole discretion of the Women’s Tennis Association and Octagon, and may be subject to change. Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including, but not limited to, transportation costs, meals, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner’s companions must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdictions of residence (and at least eighteen (18) years of age), unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Winners and their guests agree to comply with all applicable venue rules and regulations. Sponsor, Octagon (as 2011 Mercury Insurance Open tournament owner), and/or venue operator reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to winners and/or guests who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the tournament. Released Parties (defined below) will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of the events.

The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions except at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Prize may not be resold or offered for resale. Any such resale may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning are determined by the total number of eligible entries received.

NOTIFICATION: Potential Winner will be notified by e-mail, U.S. first class mail, and/or telephone by the Sponsor (the "Prize Notification"). In the event that any potential Winner does not respond to any such Prize Notification within forty-eight (48) hours of the time of issuance, a disqualification will result, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate potential Winner may be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries. Each potential Winner may be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Sponsor and may be required to execute, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity, within forty-eight (48) hours of time of issuance. Failure to submit any identification required by Sponsor or to return the required documents within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules or the return of any Prize (or any portion thereof) or Prize Notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, may cause an alternate potential Winner to be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstakes and submitting an entry, each Entrant agrees to (i) be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, and (ii) waive any and all claims against the Sponsor, Octagon and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in the Sweepstakes or from the receipt or use of any Prize or any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of any Prize. Each Winner, by acceptance of Prize, grants to Sponsor, Octagon, and each of their respective designees the right to publicize such Winner’s name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, voice, statements and/or other likeness and prize information in any media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, misdirected, lost, misrouted, scrambled, damaged, delayed, incomplete, undelivered, mutilated, postage-due or garbled entries, transmissions, email or mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), wireless network, website, or other connections, including those through and/or by any website, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, processing, or communication; non-delivery; misdirected, blocked, or delayed e-mail notifications; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules, ,in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or any other errors, problems or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, network, computer, telephone, mail, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the Prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials, or the cancellation or postponement of any match, event or exhibition. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or their respective agents. Sponsor shall have the sole right to disqualify any Entrant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize (or any portion thereof), and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify a Winner and award the Prize by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation.
